Care Instructions for Barrister Cotton Bibs, Tabs & Collarettes

To maintain the pristine appearance and longevity of your barrister accessories, please follow these care guidelines:

✦ Washing Instructions:

• Hand Wash Preferred: Gently hand wash in lukewarm water (30°C/86°F) with a mild detergent.

• Machine Wash (if necessary): Use a delicate cycle in cold water with similar colors. Place items in a mesh laundry bag for added protection.

• Do Not Bleach: Avoid chlorine or harsh bleaching agents as they can damage the cotton fibers and cause yellowing.

✦ Drying Instructions:

• Do Not Tumble Dry: Lay flat on a clean, dry towel or hang to air dry away from direct sunlight to prevent discoloration.

• Avoid Wringing: Gently press out excess water—do not twist or wring the fabric.

✦ Ironing Instructions:

• Iron on Cotton Setting: Use a warm iron (cotton setting) and a pressing cloth to avoid shine marks and preserve crisp pleats and collars.

• Avoid direct contact between the iron and decorative trims or embroidery, if present.

✦ Storage Tips:

• Store in a cool, dry place.

• Hang or fold neatly to retain shape. Avoid overcrowding in drawers to prevent creases.

• Use garment covers or robe bags to protect from dust.
